Nothing lapses while you weren’t looking.
Dhakkaifin keeps the annual fee, the insurance and the road worthiness of every vehicle you own, and tells you before any of them runs out. It works offline, asks for no account, and keeps everything on your own phone.
When do reminders arrive?
At 9am, on the days you choose in Settings — 30 days before, 7 days before, the day before, and on the day are switched on to begin with. Every one of them is optional. Reminders are set on the phone itself, so they arrive with no signal and no data.
Nothing has arrived. What now?
Open Settings inside the app and look at Reminders queued. If it says notifications are turned off, allow them in iOS Settings → Dhakkaifin → Notifications. If it says a number, that is how many are waiting and Next one is when the first will arrive. If it says zero, no vehicle has a date in the future yet.
Can I track something other than the three fees?
Yes. Open a vehicle and add a fee under “Another fee for this vehicle” — a parking permit, a licence, a service contract. It belongs to that vehicle alone, so a permit on the car does not appear on the motorbike.
I typed a date wrong.
Open the vehicle, then Edit dates on the fee in question. Correcting a record changes it. Recording a new period over an old one is a renewal, and the old period moves to History.
Can I lock the app?
Settings → Privacy → Require Face ID to open. Your phone does the checking; the app only ever hears yes or no. If Face ID fails, your passcode still lets you in — an app that shuts you out of your own insurance dates on a wet morning is worse than one that asks for a PIN.
What happens to my dates if I change phone?
Everything lives on the phone, so it travels in an encrypted iPhone backup and comes back when you restore. There is no account to sign into and nothing stored anywhere else. Delete the app and the records go with it.
